Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is quite, a few minutes walking to the city centre, shops, cafés, bars. The public transport in front of the door. Pisek - the historic town on the Otava River boasts the oldest surviving bridge in the Czech Republic, but also modern architecture and a wide range of services. Písek has a number of poetic names – the South Bohemian Athens, the town of schools and students, the town of pensioners, the Mecca of violinists, the town in the sea of forests… South Bohemia is one of the most attractive tourist regions in the Czech Republic. Located in the southern part of the country, it shares borders with Austria and Germany. The centre of the South Bohemian Region – is České Budějovice, where the world-famous Budweiser Budvar beer is brewed. There are many other gems in South Bohemia - Český Krumlov (UNESCO), many historical towns, spa towns, castles, forests, ponds, Šumava mountains, Lipno and Orlik dams, typical South Bohemian villages. Many music festivals, theatre and film performances, gastronomy events, fish and beer festivals. South Bohemia is a great place for hiking, cycling, water sports, for golfers - six picturesque golf courses. Šumava mountains area is attractive for cross-country skiers.
