General overview
We have purchased our Happy home as we refer to it two years ago. Before that we spent a month of April in a trailer right on the beach. Every morning I walked the dogs at the sunrise and we saw so many different birds on the beach! After the dog walk I still had time to take a bicycle ride… you can ride on the beach or take a specially designated path on a main road .. We just fell in love and purchased a townhouse villa in a golf community just outside the Island. Our back porch is overlooking the old part of the golf course where you still can practice your chipping. The villa is just across from the pool, where you can meet our guests and neighbors from all over Canada and the United States . You can even have it all to yourself in the morning or later at night sipping a cocktail and watching the stars. We have tennis court and gym in the complex as well as a restaurant in a clubhouse. On the island you can ride the horses, enjoy zip-lines, even skydive. This is one of the rare places where you can take sand castle lessons. There is a water park for the kids and adults.
The space
Master bedroom with king bed, second bedroom with 2 twin beds and a computer desk. Two full bathrooms. Living room has 65 inches TV , there is projector with a screen for a movie night in a second bedroom. Well equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer.

Neighbourhood
You will find friendly crowd in the pool across from the house. Both guests and neighbors are chilling out in the afternoon. In the morning or in the evening you might have the pool all to yourself
Getting to my home
Harlingen International is the nearest airport. We normally drive from our house in Houston. It is an easy drive since the highway is not congested.
