General Overview

Our house is situated on the Coromandel Peninsular which is one of the top “must see” places in New Zealand. Our little town of Pauanui has one if the best beaches in the area. We have a small shopping centre with restaurants, a bakery, supermarket, cafe, doctors, dress shop and more. Pauanui also has three golf courses, bowls, tennis courts and even its own small airfield! It is flat and so is great for walking or cycling. There are lots of hiking trails in the surrounding hills and interesting artefacts from the gold rush era. We are only 1 1/2 hours drive from Auckland. There are many other beaches to visit on the Coromandel, including the famous Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach.

The Space

Our beach house is in a beautiful small town on the stunning Coromandel peninsular. We are only a 5-minute flat walk to a white sand beach with clear water and waves or 5 minutes to the sheltered estuary, which is great for kayaking or for small children. Our house is fully equipped and a well stocked kitchen. We have four bedrooms, the main bedroom and second bedroom have queen beds and the third bedroom has two sets of bunks, the sleepout has a queen size bed and there is its own shower and toilet. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and there are sliding doors off the dedroom opening onto the deck. There is another bathroom with a shower servicing the other two bedrooms in the house. There is also separate toilet. In the gardent there is also a utility room which also has a shower and toilet and additional fridge space. Our garden is set up with a gazebo for outdoor dining or evening drinks. The section is fully fenced with two outdoor dining areas.
