The reason to why we have decided to live here - just a short walk down to the sea and the beautiful archipelago outside
Welcome to our place! This is our house seen from the small street that runs down to the beach

Another beautiful sunset
The small beach/harbour a few minutes walk from our house. There is a small sandy beach as well as nice cliffs to jump from further out
The jumping tower at the end of the beach. There are several beaches like this north and south of us, within walking/biking distance
Our kitchen is quite big and we often have dinners for up to 20 people sitting here. We love this part of the house!

Our house from the south side in winter.
The little white house here is the sauna. We are a few families sharing it, and you could easily book it to have it on your own. We do this all year around, it's so beautiful down here and you have a perfect view of the archipelago. This is after the beach at the end of our street.
There are plenty of nice views of the archipelago from our beach and around in the neighbourhood
The sunsets here are spectacular - if you arrive in winter, the sun will set in the afternoon. If you visit us in summer, it will set very late.
One of the many beaches in the neigbourhood
Scenery from the bike path that runs along the sea for 10 km
If you are lucky, you might be able to catch "mareld" - sea fire or bioluminescence. This normally appears in late summer/beginning of fall (August to October) but can sometimes be seen in December as well. The light comes from phosphoresscent plankton.
Down town Gothenburg
The island Marstrand, about 45 minutes' drive north of us. This is a perfect daytrip and this is a buzzling little village in the summers with lots of nice restaurants. The castle, built in 1658, overlooks the island and has an interesting history to it. Bring a pic-nic and enjoy the amazing view or join one of the guided tours to learn more.
Early morning walk to Korshamn, the quiet little beach south of our closest beach
Morning swim in Örsviken, our closest beach
Evening walk to Kullsvik, a few beaches south of our home.
Our family - Malin & Martin, and the kids: Filip, Ebba and Wille on our exchange in Brazil 2019-2020
Evening swim in Nordreviken, the next beach to the north of our beach
Bring your favourite bottle of wine and watch the sun set from one of the cliffs/rocks by the sea

Well worth a visit - Elfsborgs fästning in the the harbour of Gothenburg - just jump on a ferry from down town Gothenburg and learn more about our history and how we fought the Danes, and bring picnic or have lunch at the nice restaurant on the island.
