In Jax, you can experience a different side of Florida, combining both relaxation and adventure, and letting you choose just how active you want to be. Enjoy our 22 miles of beaches, extensive park system, world-class fishing, historic neighborhoods, vibrant street arts scene, creative coastal cuisine, delicious craft beer, vibrant nightlife and so much more!
The space
JAX, It's Easier Here!
I own a 4 bedroom 2.5 Bath double story home with a garage. This home would easily accommodate a large family on vacation! I also have a spare room and would love to host a person or couple! This home is less than a year old so everything is new but I promise, its very homey!
Guest access
Two story. All bedrooms are upstairs, along with laundry.
The computer room, kitchen, half bath and family room are located downstairs!
Notes
There is one TV in the living room. We just don't watch a lot of it so no cable but Netflix and fire stick also available. No Televisions in any of the bedrooms. But Very strong internet throughout the home.
Here are our 14 experiences you can’t leave Jacksonville without trying:
Riding the St. Johns River Taxi- it’s not just for transportation, it’s the best and most affordable way to see Jacksonville from the water –and one of the prettiest ways too!
Visiting one of our museums. From the history of the beaches, to our city history, African American history, to ancient art, we have it all!
Following the Jax Ale Trail and having a beer at one of our hometown craft breweries.
Eating some Mayport Shrimp, they catch it off our coast in the historic Mayport Village.
Exploring Black Rock Beach or any one of our over 400 national, state and city parks.
Eating a big breakfast – We love hometown favorites Maple Street Biscuit Company and Metro Diner, but there are so many more AMAZING breakfast spots!
Enjoying the waves and learning to surf or paddleboard.
Watching the sunrise along our 22 miles of beaches. Boneyard Beach in Big Talbot Island is a must for the perfect sunrise pic!
Touring our historic neighborhoods – Riverside, Avondale, San Marco, Springfield and Murray Hill.
Checking out the awesome public art scene– there are murals and sculptures everywhere you look in Downtown Jax.
Taking a photo of the skyline from Friendship Fountain.
Getting your sweet on at Sweet Pete’s or Peterbrooke Chocolate.
Going for a sunset stroll down the River Walk in Downtown and spotting some dolphins and manatees.
Enjoying a cocktail at one of our rooftop bars overlooking the river or the ocean.

Neighbourhood
Neighborhood is VERY quiet. You can walk to local restaurants and convenient stores. We have a small playground in the community if you have little ones. Big back yard and pet friendly.
Getting around
Jacksonville is the largest city in the continental United States with over 840 square miles. You will need transportation.
I am located within 10 minutes of the Jacksonville Airport. Uber and Lyft are all over. I would also consider leaving my vehicle available under certain circumstances. .

People Like Us Local Guide
Recommend places to dine. I live near the Jacksonville Airport so I could help you get to your destination Jax. I don't drink but would live to meet travelers and share a cup of coffee.
Greetings All! I've had the traveling bug since I was a kid. We are a very curious and fun family of 3 who would love to exchange homes and experience different places and cultures. I'll be traveling with my 13 and 14yr old. We love adventure and are open to almost everywhere. A week or two exchange would work best for us as my children are in school. I'm open to spending Holidays somewhere new. I'm new to this but not new to traveling. I will respect your place like it was my own. My home is very kid friendly. I live at the end of a cul de sac and have a small playground next to my home. Thank you for your time.
