The house is nestled on a corner block to two cul-de-sac and it is surrounded by established tree and edging. The home is orientated east-west with views of the reserve. the house is just outside the flight path for Melbourne airport allowing views of the landing planes but not the noise.
The home was built circa 1970 and whilst it has been upgraded in the last 50years, she reattains some of her original charms, exposed timber beams to the kitchen living and dining room  are clear influence from the mid century Scandinavian influence.
We have a vegie garden to the front a and backyard with a magnesium plunge pool which is thoroughly enjoyed by our toddler.

The house has 2 floors connected by central stair, the downstair has 2 main bedrooms with ensuite and the upper floor has the kitchen, main living spaces, a study and a third bedroom with a central bathroom.

Guest Access

The house has 2 floors connected by central stair.
External stair provide access from the first floor to the backyard, also accessible from the master bedroom sliding door.

Neighbourhood

Niddrie is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 11 km (6.8 mi) north-west of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Moonee Valley local government area. 
The house is set on a cul-de-sac abutting into a reserve with a creek.
the neighbors all know each other and come together to help one another if need be.
Every year for xmas a street party takes place in someone front yard whilst the kids play on the street.

Getting to my home

Located 10 min away from the Melbourne Tullamarine airport, car/uber/taxi is the best way to get to the home.

Getting Around

From the main street in Niddrie the 59 tram  will take you directly to Melbourne CBD passing though Essendon, North Melbourne Carton straight into Swanson street. 
For the Train you will need to get to Essendon train station 8min by car. 
Niddrie main street with supermarkets is not far. 2 km is a walkable, but given the hills and possibly heavy groceries, we recommend using the car to move around. from the home the CBD is 20 min by car on the city link.
