We felt so lucky to stay in Edith's home. What care she took in designing a home that fits into the landscape as if it was built years ago, but has all the comforts that we needed! We loved the solitude and beautiful garden all so close to the water. This was a perfect respite to come home to after a full day of D Day beach touring. And, then we spent the 2nd day walking and exploring Quettehou and Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue: followed the AllTrails guide to a 5 mile hike around the fort, to the lighthouse, a little church commemorating those who had died at sea and a walk along the harbor with stops for coffee and fresh seafood. We are breathing easier and feeling so relaxed after our stay. Thank you, Edith!!! We appreciated your easy communication throughout and your responsiveness to ensure we had everything for a perfect trip.

We loved Edith’s home in Normandy. It’s a beautiful stone house with plenty of room and lovely gardens. We enjoyed touring the D-Day landing sites and the American Cemetery as well as the beautiful villages all along the coast. There is so much to do within an hours drive, we could have easily spent another week. We were also lucky to be able to meet Edith in Paris for dinner while we were there.

We absolutely loved staying at Edith's home in the French Countryside. Her home is such a lovely place to stay. Surrounded by gorgeous gardens, we were also pleasantly surprised when we woke up to a sea view outside our bedroom window. Taking my father and parents to Normandy Beach and the cemetery was a very moving experience and one that we will not forget. Edith was such a pleasure to correspond with and we were very happy in each of our exchanges with her.

Edith's home was lovely and so relaxing and she was very easy to communicate with. We loved that there was a small beach at the end of her road. Her backyard and the garden were also very nice, especially after living in Paris since the start of the school year. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, I highly recommend it. We would love to come back one day!
