General Overview


The Space

We have a 4 bedroom terraced house, 3 bathrooms, open plan living areas and kitchen. Full width sliding doors out to the patio and garden which is south facing and a sun trap in the Summer, there is a bbq available as well as a selection of toys and crafts.

Guest Access

We are on 4 floors, 2 flights of stairs, with the master bedroom and en suite being a loft conversion. Unfortunately our house is not very accessible for wheelchair access.

Neighbourhood

Countryside walks on the doorstep. First village shop only 5 minutes walk away. Second village shop can be found on the village green where there are also 3 pubs, pharmacy, and church, this is a 15 minute walk. We are at the foot of Boxhill which is a very popular tourist spot, and you can find plenty of hiking and cycling trails around this area. This is about 15 minutes drive away or about a 30/40 minute walk. Slightly further is another tourist attraction, Leith Hill and the tower, about a 20 minute drive, lots of cycling and hiking trails here too. Our village is in between 2 towns where you can find all the usual high street shops and conveniences, both about 10-15 minute drive.

Getting to my home

We are a 20 minute drive away from London Gatwick Airport. Dorking, Reigate & Redhill all have main stations into London. There are regular buses into Dorking and Reigate.

London Gatwick is 20 minutes away.

Getting Around

Local shops are within walking distance. Buses are available to get into towns for bigger shops or these are a 15 minute drive away with a car.

Sharna

Hi we are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids (16, 14 & 9). We will sometimes travel as a family and sometimes as a couple. We are new to house exchanging but love traveling and hope that this will allow us more opportunities. We live in a village about 40 minutes south of London, countryside walks and cycle routes on the doorstep, we are also about 45 minutes to the coastline and 20 minutes from London Gatwick Airport. We would love to travel around Europe, Asia, Indonesia, South America, Carribbean….. Looking forward to the whole experience.
