General overview
Mark and I love each other but we also like our own space. Even if you're a big family, you'll find privacy here: there are dens in addition to bedrooms; there's a huge backyard. You can walk to two of the hippest neighborhoods (9th and 9th, and Sugarhouse). What's best is the access to the mountains. 20 minutes to mountain wilderness (10 to foothills). 40 minutes from bed to ski lift (we've measured).

We moved to Salt Lake and thought we'd stay a couple years or so... it's been 30. We love the outdoors (hike, ski, bike, walk.. repeat), we love clear sunny days, we love a good international airport, good restaurants, theaters... and odd, interesting people, of which there are many here, including Mormons. (I didn't know what "LDS" stood for when we came). Mark and I both are now semi-retired and want to spend more time especially in Europe. Dorothee was born in Germany; we have lots of family there. But traveling in general, any where, is how we keep learning about life. We'd love to meet you.
