General Overview

Our home is situated on a quiet cul de sac set apart from the nearest village and opposite a country park, ideal for lovely walks. We have views of farmer's fields to the rear. It's a unique property as each house on our road is different as we are all self builders!

The Space

As you enter the house, you arrive into a lovely large hallway and with the clever design of the glass built into our stairwell, you can see right though into our garden. To your left isn the living room with comfy sofas, a fire and a piano and as a TV free room, it is where we come to chill! Our whole house interconnects but there is also the option of closing off the living room. We also have a large open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, dining room and den area with more sofas and a TV. This area also has 5m sliding doors to give you uninterrupted views of the garden. Downstairs, there is also a cloakroom and an office which my huband and I share. We have 4 bedrooms you are welcome to use upstairs - the master bedroom with a king sized bed, a double guest room (both with Tempur mattresses) and the children each have a bedroom with a single bed. There is a family bathroom and an ensuite leading off from the master bedroom. There is plenty of car parking directly at the front of the house.

Guest Access

The downstairs of the house has disability access for the front of the house and the downstairs toilet, however, it is a two storey house with a set of winding stairs - which may prove a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Neighbourhood

We live in a lovely quiet cul de sac and our children often play out the front. There is so much to do depending on what you're into - ice skating, bowling alleys, laser tag, trampoline parks and swimming pools within 10 minutes drive. Equally we have miles of lovely country walks directly from our doorstep. Slightly further afield are the thriving cities of Manchester one way and Liverpool the other and both are easily accessible by car or train.

Getting to my home

We are conveniently situated only 8 mins drive from the M62 motorway and easy to find.

Nearest airport

Manchester & Liverpool Airports - approx 20- 30 mins drive

Getting Around

I would recommend anyone staying to have a car to get around to make the most of the local area. We may be able to negotiate use of our car if that is something you wish to consider. We have a local corner shop a relatively short walk away, ideal for a newspaper or a pint of milk and a post office not too much further. We have a number of smaller and major supermakets wthin 5-10 minutes drive for groceries and fuel, plus shopping outlets and restaurants that we can recommend. There is a fish & chip shop and a Chinese takeaway within a mile and many other options which deliver.
