Thank you for taking the time to checkout this listing. Comfortable small town living close to the city. Nestled between the beach and the mountains. We are located in Albion Park NSW, which is a 1.5h drive from Sydney, a 20 minute drive from the city of Wollongong but also a 15 minute drive from kiama (and the famous blowhole), 10min from Shellharbour and 10 from the Macquarie National Park. We are in a great location for outdoor activities like bushwalking, with the Illawarra fly treetop walk, Jamberoo Recreation Park and Minamurra Rainforest all close by. There are lots of great local markets, beaches and restaurants within a comfortable drive. Albion Park is located in the Illawarra region, is just 80 minutes south of Sydney. It's an area of great natural beauty - stretching west from the picturesque coastline to rolling pastures, set against the majestic backdrop of the Illawarra escarpment. 10 minutes to Shellharbour village and Stockland mall, easy access to gateway motorway for direct link to Sydney (1.5 hrs) The house isn’t new, but hopefully a comfortable place for you to explore the area or stopover from your long drive ☺️ It has a front patio where you can enjoy your brekkie whilst looking over the beautiful escarpment. Basic kitchen stuff like electric stove, oven, instant pot and a dishwasher if you decide to cook something simple. Or else there are a few nice eateries like Yummy Thai, Pinnochio’s Pizza, Joe’s Milk Bar and Hooked fish and chips :) We’ve got a reclining sofa, and huge dvd collections for the night in (rainy season) We also have broadband wifi to connect to your own prime and netflix subscription. 10 minutes drive to Shell Cove Marina, Killalea beach, Killalea reserve (recommended 2 hours morning walk around the beautiful lagoon, perfect for birds watcher!), Jamberoo (quaint little town), Minnamurra forest (1-2 hours bushwalk), Shellharbour village (enjoy the Hooked fish and chips Aussie style!), Kiama, Calderwood. The space

2 bedrooms for guests. The guest room has a queen size bed (in the picture) and other guest room has 1 double bed. Both are king koil mattress. If simultaneous or non simultaneous not working, we appreciate globes :) You have access to the whole house, except our main bedroom and our 2 work rooms :) Minimalist furnishing with reclining lounge in the TV room :)

Notes

No pets nor smoking is allowed. Unfortunately there are a few steps to get to our house so won’t be suitable for wheelchairs.

  • Thanks so much to Daisy and David for your lovely comfortable home. We felt welcome from the day we arrived. Albion Park is a great base for the coast towns of Kiama, Shellharbour and Lake Illawarra. Behind is the spectacular escarpment and the towns of the Southern Highlands. Bowral, Berry and Robertson. So much to do and see. Cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We loved cooking in the kitchen and just chillin. Definitely recommend and a big Thankyou for making our first exchange so special.
