General Overview

Our house is an old traditional adobe farm, with its barns, its fountain, its washhouse and its bread oven, close to the traffic axis while being surrounded by meadows. It is located in Saint Chef, a recognized historical heritage with its 11th century abbey and its preserved frescoes.

The house is a Dauphinois house from the 1930s, completely renovated. It has 4 bedrooms, an open living room/kitchen of 50 m2 and a living room of 25 m2. The bedrooms are upstairs as well as the 2 bathrooms and separate WC.

The house is located on a very large plot of 2 hectares open to the meadows: a vegetable garden of 100 m2 with a greenhouse, a swimming pool area (salt with electric roller shutter), a large wooden terrace on the north side and a tiled terrace. south side court, A shed to park the cars as well as an enclosed chicken coop. It's up to you to harvest fresh vegetables and eggs every morning!

Neighbourhood

Our only neighbor is a hundred meters away, we are served by a low traffic road. We have the view over a our beautiful hill and the meadows at the back of the house and by a church on the road side.

Getting Around

The village center is 3 km away with several shops: medium-sized stores (Carrefour Contact), pharmacy, post office, 2 excellent bakeries and an excellent butcher. The nearest towns are Morestel and Bourgoin Jallieu about fifteen minutes away. We are located between Lyon, Grenoble, Chambéry. The proximity to lakes and mountains allows for beautiful days of hiking and swimming. A car and 5 bicycles are at your disposal.
