Neighbourhood

This is a historic suburb of NYC that is extremely walkable and has a cute and well known downtown with excellent restaurants and shopping. You are walking distance from multiple grocery stores, bookstores, movie theater, shopping, dining, and coffee. Local attractions: -Saddle River County Park -Van Neste Square Memorial Park, at the center of town -Warwick for fall apple picking, cider, or a hike. -Thomas Edison’s lab in West Orange, a National Historic site. -Holland Farms. -FDRs house in Hyde Park is beautiful and you can couple of with the Vanderbilt Mansion (which is incredible). Then go to the Culinary Institute's Apple Pie Bakery for a bite. -To make the NYC trip memorable, go to Fort Lee Historic Park and Ross Dock Picnic Area. Both places will provide photos with GW Bridge in the background (different views). Both can be 30-minute stops. -Paterson Falls is magnificent and only 15 minutes away (https://www.nps.gov/pagr/index.htm). -Walkway on top of the Palisades in Weehawken. -Lafayette Theater in Suffern (https://lafayettetheatersuffern.com/). It's been classified as one of the 10 greatest cinemas in the United States. -Bear mountain hike. -IFLY indoor skydiving. -Walkway across the Hudson https://walkway.org/. -Westfield Garden State Plaza and American Dream mall for amazing shopping. -Drive to the Ridge District on the west side, to get views of the New York City skyline.
