General Overview

Welcome to our summer house built in 1930. The house is open for exchanges from mid-april to end of September. Located right by the lake, where we have our own swimming dock. Close to forest where you can pick blueberries or mushroom. Enjoy sunset over the lake. Location is 1,5 hours north of Stockholm.

The Space

The house was originally built for two families, one family on each floor. Now the entrance floor has kitchen and living room with fireplace, while the upper floor (please note that the stairs are outside) has the sleeping area (up to five people currently). Toilet and shower as well as washing machine is located in a separate building please note - (toilet is not a water toilet, see photos).

Guest Access

2 floors, not wheel chair access. Own parking lot with room for at least two cars.

Notes

House is next to water but also public beach is five minutes walk away. You would need a car to access the house and also to go grocery shopping (about 10 minutes with the car). Please note that our first priority is to do simultaenous or non-simultaneous exchanges with our summer house. We are very restrictive with exchanging for globe.

Getting to my home

Car is the preferred option of getting to the house, about 1,5 hours drive from Stockholm. House is located around 20 minutes from Västerås (Sweden 6th biggest city) where you can find all you need (food, shopping, entertainment etc)
