Neighbourhood
Lancaster is a small city, with a great heritage! Lots of history to explore, excellent pubs and good restaurants. Cafes abound and we have a thriving music, theatre and arts scene. There’s a street market twice weekly, and supermarkets are a five minute walk. People visit to see Lancaster, and it’s castle, but also to explore the stunning countryside that surrounds the area - coast, moorland, woodlands, limestone pavements, all within a 20 minute drive, and the southern Lake District just a 40minutes away.
Getting around
We’re very conveniently placed for the railway station, the bus station and the M6! Manchester is an hour by train, 80mins by car. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both reached in 2 hours by train.
