Walks, nature, the river. Woolston Village is a haven for op shops and also has a New World Supermarket. I can walk there in 8 minutes from the house. Countdown Ferrymead is a 15-minute walk in the opposite direction.

Getting around

Walking distance to supermarkets, we are also located on a high-frequency bus route from the airport to Sumner Beach. Christchurch city centre is a 10 minute drive, 20 minute bus ride or 15 minute cycle on our wonderful new cycleway network.

  • This home was so cozy and exactly what we needed for our time in Christchurch! There were books, toys, and games to keep my kids entertained and everything I needed in the kitchen to make meals. The beds were comfortable and overall my family had a wonderful time staying in Emma’s home. Would definitely stay there again if the timing lined up! Emma was very responsive to my messages and easy to communicate with too. The instructions for the home were helpful and clear. I only wish our paths crossed so we could meet in person!
