Neighbourhood
There is a local pub serving food a couple of minutes walk away and also a local shop where you can get the basics. Further walk or cycle (5-10 minutes) is Summertown and in the opposite direction Jericho both of which have lots of places to eat and a variety of shops and small supermarkets. About a 25 minute walk/10 minutes cycle is Oxford itself with plenty of shops and restaurants and of course all the amazingly beautiful college buildings.
We are a 25 minute drive from the gorgeous villages of the Cotswolds and only 15 minutes drive from the majestic Blenheim Palace.
Nearest airport
There is a local airport (Oxford) but the closest international is London Heathrow which is 50 minutes drive and is also served by a convenient bus.
Getting around
It is very easy to get around Oxford on foot or by bike (we have a few we can lend you). You will probably want a car to visit the Cotswolds and other areas of interest close by.
