Neighbourhood
Our home is ideally located just a 25-minute walk from Oxford city centre, either along a picturesque canal path or through the charming streets of Jericho. We are perfectly positioned beside Port Meadow, nestled between the Oxford Canal and the River Thames, offering wonderful access to green spaces and riverside walks. Jericho itself is only a 10-minute walk away and is a vibrant, fashionable neighbourhood known for its excellent cafés, restaurants and independent small cinema. At the end of the street is a large recreation ground, ideal for families, with a playground for younger children, play equipment for older children, a ping-pong table, football pitch and a basketball hoop. The location is also perfect for exploring further afield. Blenheim Palace is just a 20-minute drive away and is highly recommended. London can be reached in around 55 minutes by train (or slightly longer by car). Legoland is approximately 50 minutes away, while Bath is about 1.5 hours by car. The beautiful Cotswolds are right on our doorstep, with the picturesque town of Burford just a 30-minute drive away.

It is very easy to get around Oxford on foot or by bike (we have a few we can lend you). You will probably want a car to visit the Cotswolds and other areas of interest close by but there are also local buses that serve lots of the villages.
