General overview
We live in a unique looking log home surrounded by mountains. The house is located on a country road, away from the road and quite far from neighbors.
Come and breathe the fresh air! Our home is on a large green space. An 80,000 square foot lot for family fun, playing in the snow in winter, or swimming in summer. We have a sand volleyball court, as well as a play module for children. The land includes several fruit trees such as plum, apple, pear and cherry trees. And our back neighbor is the mountain!
Since the summer of 2021 we have had a heated in-ground pool, set up in a large, safe and intimate space. The dimensions are 13x27 and it is 52” deep, on a flat bottom, with full width steps and long benches on either side. The pool area also includes a propane fireplace for cooler evenings. We have also recently built a pond and a waterfall, synonymous with a peaceful place!
The house has 4 bedrooms upstairs but one has been transformed into a walk-in closet, as explained in our description:
Bedroom 1: large master bedroom with Queen bed and direct access to the second floor bathroom.
Bedroom 2: bunk bed (double bed below. single bed above)
Bedroom 3: double bed and would also have space for an inflatable mattress.
Bedroom 4 (small): The 4th is not mentioned in the description because it serves as a "walk-in closet and office", and therefore does not have a permanent bed. It is possible to add an extra baby bed or an inflatable single mattress. This room has a large window and a wardrobe but is very small.
The large living room is found in the garden level basement, where there is also a bench seat that converts into an extra 2-seater bed (equivalent to two single beds wide). Does well for adults too.
We have a family room on the 2nd floor of the detached garage, where there is a sofa bed and a pool table. Sometimes we make it accessible according to your needs. The garage does not have a toilet or bathroom.
The house has 3 bathrooms, including 2 with 1 bath and 2 with a shower. One on each floor.
