Neighbourhood
Our immediate area is rural - mainly milking cows. We are only a few minutes drive to the city though and all the usual facilities a city offers - cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, library, sports fields, gyms, swimming pools an endless list including a top quality golf course.
There are lots of walks in the greater Manawatu area and 2 lovely beaches - Foxton and Himitangi
Nearest airport
Palmerston North - 10 minute drive away
Getting around
A car is really necessary as there is no public transport from our house. Uber and taxis are available into the city but most visitors usually have their own vehicle.
The city of Palmerston North is a 7-8 minute drive away.
There is a rail link to Wellington.

People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
