Jen works in health emergency management, Doug's a heavy duty mechanic. 
We LOVE to travel and have been all over the world :) 
We have family in Germany, the UK, and southern California, so we are often travelling in/near those places. 
Jen speaks a touch of terrible Spanish and enjoys practicing when visiting Spanish-speaking places. 
We are animal lovers and have volunteered with health and veterinary organizations in the past while travelling. We live on an island and somehow seem to end up visiting other islands frequently!
