General overview
Private, smaller, home with lots of land, a micro bakery and chickens on site but still on walking distance from Olde Town Arvada, nice restaurants and the light rail/ train to Denver for Urban feel.
Especially in the winter our Hot Tub and Sauna is a joy for a weekend trip.
And if you'd always wanted to see a micro bakery this is your opportunity. For sure you will have a nice fresh loaf of sourdough included in the exchange!
The space
Nice cosy kitchen, small living room, study room, main bedroom with olympic queen bed, a kitchen area with a queen size pull out sofa and upstairs two tiny kids rooms each with a twin bed.
Guest access
2 floors although upstairs is just 2 little kids rooms.
Notes
Our place is private as it is tucked away at the back of a lot. It is a childrens safe haven with lots of play, zero traffic and fresh chicken eggs every day.
As it is so private we make a fire whenever we can, which is lovely with the hottub and sauna.
We have a dog but we can most likely find a stay away if no dog preferred duing an exchange. He is a gentle giant.
Arvada has the light rail straight through town and we live close to it. If you are very sensitive to noise our house is not your best choice. Eventhough we live in a quiet zone; There are occasional train drivers who don't know and will do a lightrail honk. Not the same loudness as the big train honk but you'll be able to hear it.

Neighbourhood
Great little shops, plenty bars and various restaurants, nice parks and the Arvada Olde Town station. Our House is at the back end of the Lot, eventhough we live in Olde Town the feel is very private. Winterpark skiing is 1.5 hour away, Eldora 50 minutes, loveland 1 hr. For families with younger children to try skiing for a day I recommend echo mountain which is fairly affordable for a day and 45 minutes away.
Getting to my home
It's possible to take a train from the airport to Union and take the lightrail to Arvada Olde Town. From there it's a 7 minute walk to our place.
Nearest airport
Denver International airport.
Getting around
Supermarkets, it's possible to bike but I would advise to have a car. We can most likely include a 4WD stickshift car into the exchange.
