Welcome to our conveniently located Montclair home! We live very close to the Watchung Train Station which gets you directly to Penn Station in 40 minutes (35 min by car) and we're a block away from Watchung Plaza with wonderful local shops. We have a beautiful deck with an outdoor couch and table that fits 8 people as well as a backyard with a swing set! Our house is cozy, warm and spacious. Very fast wifi. If you are traveling with kids, we have a lot of toys/activities ready for them.

The Space

The main floor has a big living room, a den with toys, a dining room and kitchen. There is a 1/2 bath on the first floor. One of the second floor bedrooms has a queen bed. The other bedroom is a kids room with a twin sized mattress (and a foldout crib if needed). Also on the second floor is an office and a full bathroom. The top floor is the master bedroom with a king sized bed.In the basement, there are two rooms and a full bath. There are two pull out couches in the basement, washer & dryer, and more toys. The spacious patio area has an outdoor dining table, couch, grill, string lights, swing set play area, garden, and backyard area.

Getting to my home

Fly to Newark Airport and get a cab 25 min to our house or Train to Penn station in Manhattan and take New Jersey Transit on the Montclair Boonton Line to Watchung train station.

Nearest airport

Newark Airport is 25 min away. JFK is about an hour and a half depending on traffic.

Getting Around

All mentioned above is less than a 5 min walk away. You can always call a Lyft or uber to explore any of the other 3 charming neighborhoods in Montclair (Bloomfield Ave, Walnut Street and Bellvue Ave). All of them are a five min drive from our home.

We are a warm, joyful family of four based in Montclair, NJ. Mother Miranda is a songwriter and creativity/vocal coach with a passion for running and the outdoors. Father Ben is a video editor cinematographer who enjoys sports and design projects in his free time. 6 YO son Will loves coding and swimming and making up stories and asking a million questions about how things work. 4 YO Leo loves our two cats, Mushroom and Smokey, trains, books and trains again.
