General Overview

From the terrace and pool you have amazing views of the ocean and valley. The property has lots of outdoor space and a private glass feature pool. There are many areas for relaxing in the sun, alfresco dining and a great bbq area with feature seating. The apartment has two bedrooms with double beds a bathroom and a fully fitted kitchen. It’s a 10 minute walk down the hill to Sa Tuna beach which has a few lovely restaurants and cafes serving local food. Begur is around 1.5 hours drive from Barcelona and 45 minutes from Girona.

The Space

The apartment is a lovely space that has been recently renovated, it isn’t huge but is plenty big enough for 4 people. The kitchen is fully fitted with everything you would need, ice machine, Nespresso coffee machine along with all other kitchen necessities. There is a smart TV that you can add your Netflix or Sky account to. Lots of books, DVD’s and games for passing time. We have a built in bbq with feature stone seating. Another two outdoor seating areas are provided for enjoying the view whilst having food or drinks. There is a washing machine and drying rack. Fans in the bedrooms and AC in the main living/kitchen area.

Guest Access

The apartment is only for four people maximum(no exceptions). None smoking and pet free. There are lots of steps around the property so isn’t good for people with mobility issues or very young children.

Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is residential but mostly second holiday homes. It is quiet and peaceful with a lovely outlook onto the ocean, the Medes islands and the forests. There are a handful of lovely local restaurants/bars down at Sa Tuna beach. The whole of the area is hilly with many beautiful winding roads leading you down to stunning beaches. The walk to the beach from our apartment is about 7-10 minutes but longer on the steep walk up, there is car parking down by the beach if you’re not up to the walk.

Getting to my home

We fly into Girona if possible as it’s closer(45 minutes) or Barcelona (1.5 hours). There are busses from the airport to Begur and then you could get a bus from Begur to Sa Tuna. However I would strongly recommend hiring a car for your stay.

My self and my husband Harvey are in our mid 50’s, we have two grown up daughter 21 and 25. We are originally from England but have lived overseas for 27 years in Guatemala, South Africa, Australia and now in Amsterdam NL. We have a home is Northern Spain in the most beautiful part of the Costa Brave. Begur is a medieval town with connections with Cuba. The town spills down to many beaches and coves and our house is in a cove called Sa Tuna. We have a two bedroom fully equipped flat under our main house that we let out when we aren’t there. It has a private pool, and lots of outdoor areas for relaxing or entertaining.
