General overview
Our home is a beautiful 19th century stone cottage with a large mature garden. It's cosy but quite spacious and retains many original features. Full of character!
Although rural, and with lots of local and regional places to visit, we are an hour on the train from both central London and the UK's second city of Birmingham. We're also an hour by car from the historic birthplace of Shakespeare, Stratford upon Avon.
The space
There is a spacious hallway, kitchen diner and large living/dining room on the ground floor. A porch at the back of the property includes a downstairs toilet and leads into the courtyard garden with access to the outbuilding. This is converted to a summerhouse and home office and has french doors leading to the large garden with views onto open countryside. There is a sofabed in the summer house and can be used for additional sleeping space.
Stairs lead up the centre of the house from the hall. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a family bathroom. The bathroom has a walk in power shower and separate claw foot bath. Two bedrooms have double beds and the third has a child's cabin bed.
Guest access
Living accomodations is over two floors with stairs. One very low step into front door and one step out of the back door.

Getting around
A car is recommended to get the most out of your visit. Could see about including loan of a car as we have two. We also close to a train line. Nearest station is 7 minutes in a taxi/by car
