Unique, house, in the heart of Haarlems vivid city centre, located at a small city park / public garden which closes for the public between 6PM and 8 AM. The house looks at the garden and is therefore very quiet in the evenings, although Haarlems numerous restaurants and bars are closeby. The house is part of a small complex (7 appartments), behind a characteristic old gate, was newly built in 2011 behind the old old facade. Frans Halsmuseum, architecture museum and other musea are just around the corner. As well as many restaurants, bars and Haarlems many unique shops. A short movie about Haarlem:
First floor / ground floor, Living room with new kitchen, with access to the garden, French balcony with sight on large courtyard, hall, toilet. Entrance with gate.
basement: 3 bedrooms all with daylight, thanks to the broad windows, bathroom with shower, bath, and toilet, cupboard under stairs with washing machine.
2 floors, access to garden with a few steps. Although the bedrooms are in the basement, they
Have enough daylight. In summer the are comfortably cool. As the building is new and very well isolated its comfortable warm during winter (ground floor has floor heathing).

I am 53 year old professional. My late husband and I have done about six succesfull home exchanges via another platform, between 2013 and 2017. Destinations were Canada, UsA, Budapest, Prague and Spain. We loved to discover other countries and cultures in this way. One feels more part of the country and culture then in a hotel or holiday resort. I am looking forward to take up the tradition again. Our children are all grown up and live by themselves. I would like to travel to Sicily, New Sealand, New York, California, Canada, Georgia, Armenia, Israel, Bali, the Mediterranean area in general. I will travel with my daughter, with a friend or alone. I have a very sweet cat that will stay at home. I am looking specifically for Greece (summer 2021) and Dublin (18-26 July 2021)
