Our family home is located in Okrug Gornji on Čiovo Island, connected with a bridge to the historic UNESCO town of Trogir. 
The sea and the nearest beaches are approximately 700 metres away. I
t is a peaceful and relaxed place, ideal for enjoying the Dalmatian coast while still being close to Trogir, Split and Split Airport.

Our house has three separate apartments, which means we can also accommodate larger families or family members travelling together, depending on availability.

The Space

The house consists of three independent apartments, each offering guests their own private living space. Depending on the number of guests and the agreed exchange, one or more apartments may be available.

This arrangement works especially well for extended families or friends who are travelling together but would still like to have some privacy.

Guest Access

The apartments are located on the first and second floors of our Family home and are accessed by stairs. Guests will have private access to the apartment or apartments included in the exchange. 
Free parking is available on the property.

Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is a peaceful residential area made up mainly of family homes, many of which are rented to visitors during the summer months.

Only 2 km away is Trogir, a beautifully preserved UNESCO-listed town often described as an open-air museum. 
Founded by Greek settlers in the 3rd century BC, it is known for its narrow stone streets, Romanesque and Renaissance architecture, the Cathedral of St. Lawrence with Radovan’s Portal, Kamerlengo Fortress, small restaurants and charming waterfront promenade.

Split is approximately 30 km away. Its historic centre developed around Diocletian’s Palace, built at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th century AD. 
Today, the ancient palace is a lively part of the city, filled with stone passageways, squares, cafés, restaurants and landmarks such as the Peristyle and the Cathedral of St. Domnius.

Getting to my home

The easiest way to reach our home is by flying to Split Airport (SPU), approximately 10 km away. From the airport, the most convenient option is to take a taxi or rent a car. The drive usually takes around 15–20 minutes, depending on traffic, and we can help arrange a taxi if needed.

You can also travel from Zagreb to Split by train or bus. From Split, you can continue to Trogir by bus and then take a local bus or taxi to our home. Direct buses to Trogir are also available from Zagreb and some other Croatian cities.

If you are arriving by car, free parking is available at the house.

Getting Around

The local bus stop is only a few minutes’ walk from our home, providing connections to Trogir and other parts of Čiovo. Taxis are also readily available.

A small grocery shop is just a few minutes away, while a larger supermarket is located by the coast, close to the beach. A shopping centre with a wider selection of shops is approximately 3–4 km from the house.

Hi! We are Danijela and Ante, a friendly couple from Croatia. 

We have three children. Our two older children are adults and no longer live with us, but one of them occasionally travels with us. Our youngest daughter still lives with us.
