General overview
We live in Crouch End, which is a vibrant, creative and family-friendly neighbourhood with a warm community spirit with fantastic arts on the doorstep. We benefit from being surrounded by large green spaces yet only 30 minutes from Central London. Crouch End is home to a very many cafes, and restaurants with cuisine from across the globe including excellent fish and chips, Spanish, French, Italian, Caribbean, Malaysian, Thai, Japanese, American alongside clothing boutiques, gastro pubs, design shops, patisseries, fishmongers, bakers, butchers, juice bars and deli’s. Our home is a couple of minutes walk to outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a golf course, skate park, and several play parks. We have direct access to Priory Park, adjacent to our home, which has tennis courts (we have tennis rackets for your use), children's paddling pool, playground, cafe and basketball courts. Crouch End boasts two cinema’s, it’s very own Arts Centre hosting a whole range of cultural events, a famous Comedy Club and the Park Theatre is a 10 minute bus ride away. Alexandra Palace is a 10 minute walk away with one of the best views of London and home to large scale events such as concerts, festivals, plus a weekly Farmers Market, regular Street Food events, and many more exciting activities.
The space
Our home is comfortable and spacious on a pretty Victorian street with a lovely park directly accessed from our back garden. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms; one double bedroom, and three singles with the loft bedroom having an en suite bathroom. You will have full Wi-Fi access and 2 televisions, channels including Netflix and Prime. There are also 2 DVD players and a wide range of movies you are welcome to watch, but I doubt there will be time with so much going on!

Vicky
Hi, we are a family of 4, Vicky (Teacher) Duncan (Company Director), Mimi (18) and Gil (14) and our friendly little dog Ralph and we live in beautiful Crouch End, North London.
We are new to home exchanging but are used to friends staying in our home whilst we holiday so understand how to make our home comfortable, clean and easy for guests to feel at home quickly.
We would love to bring Ralph with us if possible, he is not into chewing furniture and his fur doesn't shed so he's pretty low maintenance!
We would love to exchange during the children's school holidays any time 2023-2024.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
