General overview
Our house is very bright and has a very well equipped kitchen. The garden is composed of landscaping and a heated inground pool. In winter, we are close to ski resorts and the US border.
The space
Magnificent house with a large kitchen equipped with gas and adjoining a spacious terrace around an inground swimming pool (pool open from May to September only). The rooms are laid out in open areas offering maximum brightness. We like to cook a lot. Dream house for budding cooks. Well-stocked pantry.
Guest access
Single storey house on one floor with completely finished basement and equipped with two staircases, one of which is spiral. There is a bathroom in the basement and one upstairs. Two bedrooms are upstairs and one in the basement. Access to the backyard is through the kitchen patio door via the landscaped patio.
Notes
The swimming pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.

The house is located in a closed terrace with a central green space. Our rear neighbor is an elementary school. Very nice neighborhood and very friendly neighbors. Tranquility assured. 15 minutes walk from all services and the magnificent basin and the historic park of Fort de Chambly. Near Mont Saint-Bruno and Yamaska national parks. Near Rougemont and Mont Saint-Grégoire. Nautical activities (canoe, kayak, paddle board) possible on the basin. Extensive cycle network and pedestrian path a few steps away.

Marc
We are a couple retired from the education field. Danielle, 68 years old and Marc 62 years old. We have been exchanging our house since 2013. We take care of the exchanged houses as well as our own. We have small children. We like to travel for long periods if possible or we will combine several exchanges in the same trip. We love meeting people and sharing our culture.
We prefer to travel between September and June so that we can enjoy our grandchildren during the summer.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
