General Overview

Our 4 bedroom house is very sunny, has a beautiful garden, two decks and a small pool. It is located in a dead end and the neighborhood is very quiet. Valence is a pleasant town, ideally located at Provence’s gate : 1 hour from Lyon, Avignon and Nîmes by train, 2 hours from Montpellier, 2 h 15 from Paris and Marseille with high-speed train, 1 hour from Grenoble and the Alps, 1 hour with car from Chauvet Unesco Cave, Vallon-Pont-d’Arc arch bridge and Facteur Cheval Palace, 1h 30 from the Mediterranean sea… The european cycling road Via Rhona is ten minutes away by bike. From the house, you can easily reach many nice spots to bath in clean rivers and hundreds of hiking paths. If you like pedalling uphills, the mountains around are yours ! The famous Anne-Sophie Pic 3 stars Michelin restaurant is 15 minutes walk from our house.

Myriam

We are a family of four, with two girls in college (Augustine, 22, and Assia, 20), usually travelling with us. I (Myriam) am an artist and art-therapist, especially for children. Astrid is an art-furniture restorer and runs a bed & breakfast. We love art and culture, books, movies, theater, psychology, psychoanalysis, rowing, gardening, travelling, and cats. There are two cats in the house (Mouk and Philemon) and from time to time a third one (Pipou, our younger girl’s cat). They need to be fed by our guests. We welcome people of all race, color religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, and/or sexual orientation. 7 successfull swaps (on another website)
