My place is an oasis for design lovers who want to experience Brooklyn like locals. I have a modern, minimalist space in a landmarked '30s Art Deco building with a 24-hour doorman, roof terrace and well-equipped gym in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in New York City. I'm obsessively clean and enjoy being surrounded by few but beautiful things.
The space
A two-bedroom, two-bathroom luxury condo in a landmarked Art Deco building in downtown Brooklyn. One bedroom is set up as an office/study with Aeron chair, desk and sofa bed. All amenities you could need: chef's kitchen, wine fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, heating and air conditioning, doorman, well-equipped gym, roof terrace
Guest access
Elevator building with 24-hour doorman.
Notes
I consider my home an oasis and a source of calm in this exciting but chaotic and messy city. I am looking for someone who respects nice things and highly values a clean and hygienic environment. Please don't ever wear shoes in the apartment, or roll suitcases or bikes across the floor, or otherwise "bring the outside in." Respect the furniture and take care to live lightly in the place. No pets or smoking at any time. Sorry, but my place is not equipped for children.

Neighbourhood
Downtown Brooklyn is considered "the middle of everything": with eight major subway lines nearby, it's only one to two stops to Manhattan. Fort Greene Park is a 7-minute walk, and the building is adjacent to Brooklyn Commons with its legendary summer R&B music series. Steps from DeKalb Market, Brooklyn's largest food hall, and City Point, home to Trader Joe's, an independent bookstore and other local shops, and Alamo Drafthouse and Target. Very close to the world-class BAM and Brooklyn Cultural District, as well as nightlife and dining destinations like Gage & Tollner and Sunken Harbor Club, Grand Army bar, and the new Ace Hotel.
Getting to my home
My apartment building is within steps of 8 major subway lines, and even more within a 10-min walk. There is a garage with monthly or daily parking in the building.
Nearest airport
LaGuardia, JFK, or Newark
Getting around
Many of Brooklyn's most desirable neighborhoods are within a 15-minute walk: Dumbo, Brooklyn Heights, Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill. Pedestrian access to the Brooklyn Bridge is a less than 10 minute walk. My building is within steps of 8 major subway lines.
