General overview
This was the original Police station in Clunes, which was transported to this site. They would overlook the gold mines, during the Goldrush period. It has been renovated throughout. It has a relaxing atmosphere.
The space
Walk in the front door and the othare 2 bedrooms. One has a queen bed, the other is a double. Spacious rooms, beautifully decorated.
At the end of the hall there is a stain glass door which opens into the kitchen, dining and loungeroom.
The kitchen has red gum benches which were made from the old house stumps. Much of the furniture has been crafted by Gavin my talented husband. The kitchen is equipped with fan forced stove, gas top plates. We have bottled gas. Fridge, microwave, coffee machine. It has 3 stools so you can sit and have your coffee or a snack there.
Dining table seats 10. There is a leaf which can be added. It is a danish table, with chairs. There are 2 extra chairs in the bedrooms.
Lounge suite is very comfy. Big screen tv. Wifi. Netflix. Lots of DVDs. Against the wall is a console/shelf with games and books.
Off the dining room is a sunroom which is a great reading room.
off the loungroom is a little hallway to the side door. You will find another bathroom.
Off the other side of the loungeroom is the master bedroom, with ensuite bathtub .
Opposite wall has a European laundry. No dryer.
Off the loungeroom is a huge veranda. Table and chairs for 8 poeple.

We are a 10 minute walk to the main town street, where you will find coffee shops, restraurant, pub, Newsagency and supermarket. There are cute little shops with anquities.
Nearest airport
Melbourne Airport 1 hour 20min away
Getting around
10 minute walk there, 15 minute walk back as we are up on the hill. Depends on how fit you are!
