We are 35-minute drive to midtown Manhattan and a 35-minute train ride into Grand Central Station- so you can spend your days exploring the city and then come back to relax in our sun-filled spacious home with deck, patio and BBQ. We’re also very close to the Bronx Zoo and the New York Botanical Gardens (12 min drive to each) which are two of my favorite New York City attractions. 

If you drive north, you can explore The Historic Hudson Valley which includes Bear Mountain (perfect for hiking) and cute towns like Beacon, Cold Spring and the Catskill Mountains.

The Space

Our comfy home is located in the friendly, hilly village of Tuckahoe NY, a short 15 miles (25km) north of New York City. It’s 1,900 square feet and laid out as follows:

MAIN FLOOR
Large living room with sectional couch
Family Room with T.V. and a smaller dining table that seats 4
Dining room with table for 6
Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances
1/2 bathroom (toilet only)

TOP FLOOR (3 bedrooms + 2 full bathrooms)
Master suite: queen bed and master bath, washer and dryer also located (behind a door) in the master bedroom
Bedroom #2: double bed 
Bedroom #3: twin trundle bed (so two twins)
Full bathroom with bath

In our garage, we have 4 bikes (2 adults and 2 kids), as well as balls (soccer, basketball, etc.) nets, and games. 

Our backyard has ample space to play as well as a patio, deck and BBQ.

Neighbourhood

Tuckahoe is a beautiful suburban village in southern Westchester just north of New York City. While it has all of the conveniences/perks of a suburb (green space, parking, supermarkets, etc.) it also has an urban feel, with Main Street peppered with coffee shops and restaurants that rival city options.
