Neighbourhood

The house is located on the outskirts of the village, yet less than 300 meters' walk from the Market (with cafe's), shops, and supermarket. The park, various medical facilities, the train station, and the bus stop are also nearby. The highways to Maastricht, Heerlen, and Sittard are easily accessible, and a train to Maastricht (taking 6-8 minutes) departs every fifteen minutes from the train station. Across the house is a partially protected villa area, including the archaeological remains of Villa Herkenberg, a Roman villa situated at the foot of the northern slope of the Geul Valley and on the southern edge of the Central Plateau. In front of the house is a playground where children can play.
