General overview
Ithaca is a fun college town home to Cornell University and Ithaca College. It perches on lovely Cayuga Lake, one of the Finger Lakes. They say Ithaca is gorges,,,,well, you can walk to several less frequented gorgeous gorges from our house, or else to restaurants and downtown. There's lots of live music, microbreweries, lakes and waterfalls everywhere.
The Finger Lakes are renowned for the many wineries, cider houses, and microbreweries. There is a plethora of beautiful places to hike, boat and cross country ski in the area Taughannock Falls, Watkins Glen, and Buttermilk Falls are among the dramatic state parks nearby
The space
We live in a three bedroom house in an pleasant professorial neighborhood. The master bedroom has king sized bed and a bathroom ensuite. The two other bedrooms have double sized futons.
There are also two screened-in porches and a deck overlooking the backyard garden. Hardwood floors, sunlight and plants, walking distance to everything -grocery store, restaurants, trails, gorges, and Cornell University
Guest access
The house is two stories with a staircase. One of the bedrooms and a bathroom are on the first floor but there are a few steps up to the house.
