We live in the center of France, just 15 minutes from Montluçon and 45/50 minutes by car from Moulins, Vichy but also Clermont-Ferrand (Aulnat airport) and Bourges (motorway toll 7km).
Our house is located in a small, quiet area in the countryside close to all amenities (5 minutes by car from bakeries, supermarkets, swimming pools, gas stations, banks, post office, etc.). Our neighbors are very welcoming and available when needed. Our parents are farmers and live nearby, if you feel like discovering their profession they will be delighted to meet you.
In our region, Auvergne, you will have many things to discover: the pretty medieval villages and castles, the Tronçais forest, the Berry canal, Montluçon and its Mupop, Moulins and its youth illustration or costume museums scene, the Auvergne Volcanoes, Vichy and Néris les Bains (spa towns), Charroux (its famous mustard and its candles known throughout the world), Le Pal (animal and amusement park), Clermont-Ferrand,. ... But you can also discover our local culinary specialties, stroll through the farmers' markets and enjoy the gentle Bourbonnaise way of life. As I do for each of our exchange partners, I will send you tourist documentation to help you prepare for your stay ;)
Located in the middle of France, our house is ideally located for visiting France. It is located 1 hour 45 minutes from the ChĂąteau de Chambord, 3 hours 30 minutes from Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport as well as Switzerland, 4 hours from the Pacific Ocean and 5 hours from the Mediterranean.
