Neighbourhood

We live in the center of France, only 15 minutes from Montluçon and 40 minutes from Moulins, 50 minutes from Vichy but also from Clermont-Ferrand (Aulnat airport) and Bourges (motorway toll 7 km away). Our house is located in a quiet little corner in the countryside, close to all amenities (5 minutes drive from bakeries, supermarkets, swimming pools, gas stations, banks, post office, ...). Our neighbours are very welcoming and available when needed. Our parents are farmers and live nearby, if you want to discover their profession, they will be delighted to meet you. In our region, Auvergne, you will have many things to discover: the magnificent medieval villages and castles, the forest of Tronçais, the Canal de la Baie, Montluçon and its Mupop, Moulins and its museums of children's illustrations or stage costumes, the volcanoes of Auvergne, Vichy and Néris les-Bains (spa towns), the Charroux (its famous mustard and candles known throughout the world), Le Pal (animal park and attractions), Clermont-Ferrand,.... But you can also discover our local culinary specialties, stroll through the farmers' markets and enjoy the sweetness of the bourbonnaise. As I do for each of our exchange partners, I will send you tourist documents to help you prepare your stay;) Located in the center of France, our house is ideally located for visiting France. It is 1 hour 45 minutes from the Château de Chambord, 3 hours 30 minutes from Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport as well as Switzerland, 4 hours from the Pacific Ocean and 5 hours from the Mediterranean.
