General overview
Our home is cozy and utilitarian, nice but not fancy. It is on a hill, surrounded by trees, with just a few neighbors, up a short steep dirt road. There is a fenced yard, a porch, and imperfect gardens. Nearby there is a brook and trails good for walking, running, and biking. We hear birds, see animals, and live with nature right outside the door. We're out of town where it's quiet but 10 miles to groceries, coffee shops, movies, and restaurants.
The space
The main floor where you enter has an open kitchen, living room, dining room. There is a bathroom with a shower and laundry. Downstairs in a 2/3 basement there are two rooms. Upstairs there is a main bedroom and full bathroom. The outdoor space is fenced with a grassy area and trees. There is a deck for sitting to enjoy sun or shade depending on the time of day.
Guest access
3 floors, need to be okay with stairs. The road is a steep dirt road. We are quiet and considerate of our neighbors.
