General Overview

Welcome to the swedish best coast on the west coast! We have kilometers and kilometers of beaches, most with sand and some with cliffs/stones. The closest beach is less than 10 minutes by car and is great for kids. 20 minutes to Tylösand, one of the greatest and most well known beaches in Sweden. We are fairly close to the city center, just five minutes by car or ten by bus or bike.

The Space

Use the barbecue for dinner outside. Sit in the front outside of the house in the afternoon to enjoy the sunshine. When it gets darker, change to the conservatory on the other side of the house with infra heat. We love our long and bright summer evenings. Garden and conservatory, patio on three sides of the house. We have a big trampoline for the children in the garden and a bit of a potager where you pick zucchini, tomatoes and whatever else is growing. We think our house is comfortable and spatious, with three bedrooms downstairs, living room and dining room which is open to a fourth bedroom which we could include in the exchange on the upstair floor. Our beds: 90x200 cm in our childrens' rooms. 2 beds each 105x210 cm in master bedroom. They cannot be separated which means it's a 210x210 cm bed.

Guest Access

Three bedrooms on the ground floor, and one bedroom upstairs. All other rooms are on the ground floor.

Notes

We have 2 adult bicycles, 3 electric adult bicycles, 1 bicycle 24 inch and 1 bicycle 20 inch. An EV charger you are welcome to use. We will be happy to make suggestions of places to visit, we love our area and are happy to share it with others!

Neighbourhood

Playground is 100 metres away and supermarket is just a couple of minutes walk away. Mall with 90 stores 1,5 km away. We live in a typical swedish house area with lots of houses and easy access to the roads, great for excursions. 10 minutes to town, 10 to the forest, less than 10 to the beach. 1 hour from Gothenburg, 2 from Copenhagen.

Getting to my home

I suggest to fly to Copenhagen, then either drive or take the train to Halmstad, appr. 2 hours. From the train station it's only a 10 minute bus ride to our house and I will give easy instructions on how to get to the bus stop which is close to the train station.

Nearest airport

Copenhagen Kastrup Airport 2 hours away, Gothenburg Landvetter Airport 2 hours away.

Getting Around

Walking distance to shops, 10 minute bus ride to the city center with stores and restaurants.

Feedback

  • Great location for families and the house has everything you need for kids. Clean and easy communication with the host. Close to lovely beaches and a good coffee place in Halmstad. Also recommend to visit the indoor swimming pool nearby if rainy weather. And very nice neighbours!
