General Overview

We live in a pretty house in Talence, near the Nansouty district of Bordeaux, 10 minutes from the Capucins market, with my 2 sons in a quiet, sunny and very pleasant house to live in. We are 40 minutes from the Arcachon basin and the oyster port of La Hume, 55 minutes from the ocean beaches. We have a black cat, Moon, a bit wild who lives her life as a free cat, and happy to be fed with love.

The Space

The open plan living/kitchen is a large pleasant room of 50 m2 that overlooks the small courtyard, which makes it easy to have lunch outside (south-west), with a WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, we have 3 bedrooms with a double bed (two of 160 and one of 140), with storage space. There is a bathroom with bathtub upstairs with a toilet.

Guest Access

The house is on one level but there is a staircase to go upstairs.

Notes

The city of Bordeaux is beautiful, with its 18th century buildings, the Place de la Bourse and the water mirror overlooking the Garonne. The Bassin d'Arcachon is 45 minutes away, a fantastic place to discover where to swim, taste oysters, climb the highest Pila dune in Europe, ride a bike, go to the ocean and swim in the waves.

The airport is 20 minutes from the house.

Getting Around

We are 5 minutes from bus stop n°5, 9 and 23 which go directly to the city center and St Michel. 5 min walk from the first supermarket, pharmacy,.. and 15 min walk to a larger intermarket.
