4 Bedroom Victorian house in great location between Edinburgh and Glasgow. We are in West Calder - 2 minutes walk from Glasgow/Edinburgh train line. Car (VW Golf estate) available for swap. Easy day trips to: Edinburgh (30 by car or train), Glasgow (30 minutes by car, 45 minutes by train), Stirling (45 minutes by car), St Andrews (45 minutes by car), Hiking in Southern Highland (less than 1 hour by car), Loch Lomond National Park (less than 1 hour by car). Shopping available (including outlet mall) in Livingston (5 minutes drive). Our location means that you could do something different every day throughout your trip.

The Space

We have a fantastic old victorian house with a new open plan kitchen extension at the back. All the building in the pictures is our house. 3 Bedrooms upstairs with two bathrooms (one en-suite in master and one between the kids bedrooms). Downstairs we have a lounge that converts to a fourth bedroom and a family bathroom. The main space is an open plan kitchen, TV area and dining room. We also have a cloakroom, back door walkway connecting to the converted outbuilding part of the house and large utility room. Games room includes pool table. We have a very comfortable garden which has adult and kids spaces including small pool.

Easy to get to by air, road and rail. 20 minutes drive/uber from Edinburgh Airport. Can get to the house easily by rail from Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Edinburgh (20 minutes drive). Glasgow (35 minutes drive).

Getting Around

2 minutes walk to train line to Glasgow/Edinburgh. 5 minutes drive to one of the biggest shopping complexes in Scotland for all your shopping needs (with 6 supermarkets to choose between as well as outlet mall, Cinema, swimming pool etc.).
