Getting around
Everything in the city is walking / cycle distance.
Car is handy to have with the Unpredictable weather. And, a lot to explore
We have two adults electric bikes which we use to avoid the traffic - city center in 5minutes
We had a fabulous five week exchange in Galway. Sarah’s home was so close to the town centre and an easy walk. She also so very generously let us use her car which proved invaluable for exploring Ireland. Great home in a good location.
We have not arrived home yet as we have an extra 3 weeks travelling. Sarah, Brent and the family were very welcome in our home and were great home swap partners.
We had such a seamless experience of house exchange with Veronica and Peter. House is fab, pics dont do it justice!! And the pics are fab!! So much a home away from home
Located south of Brisbane/ north Goldcoast in a quiet and very pleasant neighbourhood. Shops and restaurants a short stroll.
Couldn't be happier with our exchange
Veronica and Peter were the perfect house exchange partners. Felt like everything was easy amd seamless. Would not have known they were even in the house it was so clean ... Just fabulous
Family of 5
I am a school principal and my husband is a school administration officer.
Looking for swaps during Irish school holidays
Traveling we are 2 adults 2 children 1 infant... and granny maybe will visit us
Our home is very easy to get to from Dublin/Shannon airports. Bus or drive.
Our home is a warm typical Irish home with nice garden very big trampoline and lots of children's toys and neighbours children to play with.
For adults visiting we are Close to shops / restaurant/pubs etc. Very central
At home we have Two hand-reared friendly but cautious outdoor cats who visit us - but only infrequently to remind us that they are now indifferent to us! We feed them if they visit. And they sometimes visit for a bit of company.
