Neighbourhood
Private gated community, with less than 30 homes. Access to restaurants, shopping and beach activity within minutes. Grocery store is 5 mins away. Store has OLCC liquor, spirits and wine. The community also has several CBD shops.
The Oregon Coast is full of exploration. Hiking trails abound near us, and estuary trails as well. Waterfalls on some of the trails, as well as the worlds largest Sitka Sedge tree. You'll find yourself immersed in nature, and enjoying every hike. (Our favorites will be listed in the house guide)
Wine country is also nearby -- about 1 hour away, you'll find all the best Pinot Noirs and other varietals to enjoy during your stay, and ship them home! Willamette Valley wine country is really a mini Napa Valley, without the traffic! (We will share our favorite wineries if you need help). https://www.touringandtasting.com/wine-tourism-willamette-valley-map/
Take a look at this awesome video of Cape Kiwanda, which is one mile south of our home.

And, another video that includes our incredible beaches and the dunes at Cape Kiwanda. This references many of the beaches close to our home, and ends at Sitka Sedge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zePMr1SJ030
Just a reminder you don't pay sales tax in Oregon, so it's also a great time to buy those items that you might need!
Getting to my home
Two hour drive to home from Portland airport, you'll want to rent a car, as a taxi/Lyft would be extremely costly.
Nearest airport
Portland, Oregon
Getting around
Two E-bikes are available for rides to the grocery/candy store ; but car is most convenient method to drive up/down Oregon Coast. When in Pacific City, many people find enough to do in this small town, however, a drive up/down the Oregon Coast will be magnificent, or a trip to the wine country just an hour away.
