Neighbourhood
Stroll into town (an easy, 10-minute walk) to catch a movie at our charming theatre, grab a bite at many of our restaurants or pubs, or do some shopping at one of our specialty shops.
If you love the outdoors, you are in the right town! Uxbridge is known as Canada's trail capital. The Trans Canada Trail runs right behind our backyard. We are also steps to the beautiful Wooden Sticks golf course.
Toronto is an easy drive but traffic in the city is terrible, so we prefer to drive to the "GO" train station and take the train downtown.
Nearest airport
The closest international airport is the Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ). It takes about an hour to get to/from the airport to our house, and a shuttle service is available (booked in advance).
Getting Around
You will find all you need in our town: grocery stores, restaurants, movie theatre, bowling, skating rink, etc.
