Our giant 3 br Carroll Gardens duplex with backyard provides best of Brooklyn and Manhattan. We have beds for up to 8. Fantastic location on a tree-lined Carroll Gardens street 1.5 blocks from Carroll Street F/G Trains and just four stops from Manhattan. Half mile walk to R train. Steps away from iconic restaurants, cafes, merchants and sun dappled streets, perfect for walking the area.
Lots of space for your for your visit! We have three upstairs bedrooms (1 queen, two doubles) and extra queen bed in basement. House has WiFi, cable TV, A/C, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer, exercise bike and lovely backyard for enjoying the summer evenings. Dining table seats 8. And don't tell anyone but on street parking too on block or neighboring blocks. And now, with two cats (so please be aware of being cat friendly.)
Plenty of places to play nearby - Brooklyn Bridge Park, with killer views of Manhattan, an outdoor pool in summer, roller skating, playgrounds and more, is walking distance away. Carroll Park - the hotspot for all kids here - is also a block and a half away. We can recommend babysitters.

Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn is a beautiful Brooklyn neighborhood with easy access to some of New York City's best restaurants, bars, parks and views. It's a family friendly area with great shopping and kind people. We live less than two blocks from Smith Street, Brooklyn's best shopping and eating strip (Coffee at Smith Canteen or East One! Dinner at Ugly Baby or Emma's Torch! Or head to Court Street for spots like Prime Meats and Buttermilk Channel! Also short walk to 3rd Avenue and such new dining spots as Littleneck, Dirty Precious, and Runner & Stone (also a great bakery!) There is a great vibe and flavor to the area that has made it one of the must see neighborhoods in NYC.
The F train is one and a half blocks from our home and it heads straight into Manhattan. Walk to downtown Brooklyn, Dumbo, and gorgeous Brooklyn Bridge Park. There is a green market near Carroll Park on Sundays. JFK and/or LGA are the easiest airports, though Newark works too. There is on street parking but you have to drive around to find it.
