General Overview

Our home is a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom single family home 35 mins from downtown Chicago (unless rush hour). The master bedroom has a king bed. Currently, there is a bedroom with a crib, another bedroom with a lofted twin bed, an office, and a playroom. We have a double bed that can be put up, two spare pack n plays, a large comfy air bed, and a futon. We are happy to arrange the rooms to fit your needs. Our living area is spacious. We have a kitchen, living room, and dining room on the first floor and the lower level has a family room, playroom, game room with full bar, full bathroom, and a second kitchen (4 burners, sink, fridge, microwave, counters and cabinets). It's a great set up for bigger groups or two families that would enjoy some separate space. We have a lovely breeze way connecting the house and garage that is great for morning coffee or post dinner wine. Our back yard is large with a patio and a gate that opens to an 11 acre park with playground, basketball court, baseball field, and a free ice skating rink in the Winter! In the basement we hand built a two level Montessori play house and have toys galore (indoor and outdoor) for children ages 0-7. We have anything you could possibly need for small kids- stroller, wagon, high chair, changing table, monitors, gates, etc.

Notes

We do have one big dog. He can be cared for elsewhere and we always get a professional clean before guests, but likely best for people without allergies.

We are 0.9 mile to the train and downtown of our suburb with pubs, restaurants, farmers market, library, etc. Uber is easily available 24/7 and may be possible to swap our suburban suv.
