General overview
My home overlooks a lovely large park leading to the Canada's Avon River. It's a 5 minute walk from the Stratford's Festival Theatre and a 25 minute walk from downtown and our other 3 theatres. In the summer, there are free music concerts and art shows in the park and along the river.
The space
The living space is open-concept. The living room faces a row of cedar trees so it is like being in a tree house. It's a quiet building near restaurants, theatres, art gallery and parks.
Guest access
Elevator
There are two bedrooms. The master has a comfy queen-sized bed and the guest room has a Murphy bed.
There are two bathrooms, but they are small and aren't wheelchair accessible.
Notes
My condo allows dogs under 25lbs. Cats are also welcome.
I can trade cars with other Canadians, who hold Canadian car insurance.

I would love to have you over for a tea, drinks, dinner and also show you around the area, near and far.
Julia's condo is a lovely third-floor unit overlooking the lovely Stratford park and the Stratford Tennis Club. We enjoyed time on the balcony just relaxing and soaking in the peace. Her home is spacious, well appointed, and we were totally comfortable there. We absolutely LOVE the location--not only right on the edge of the park along the Avon River but also just steps from the original Stratford Festival Theatre (the Festival has additional theaters in downtown Stratford). It is also within driving distance of Kitchener-waterloo, Toronto, and Niagara Falls. We would not hesitate to return.
Julia's place is spotless. The apartment has a lovely view of the park, which has a playground, a garden, fountain, and overall lots of space green space. The apartment itself is quiet and relaxing. Stores and restaurants are also only minutes away.
Julia was a great guest at our cottage! She was very easy to communicate with and treated our summer home like her own! We would welcome her back anytime :)
Julia and her friend Shirly took great care of our home and left it in excellent condition. They were a pleasure to host and we would not hesitate to do so again.
Julia left our place very clean and took great care of our cat. She also paid a lot of attention to detail. We would host her again if the opportunities arise.
Julia was an excellent guest. She was easy going, self sufficient & took great care of my cats. She left my home spotless when I returned! Would definitely recommend her as a guest!
Julia was an excellent guest in my home, relaxed, friendly and very independent and interested in all WA had to offer
I’m certainly looking forward to visiting Stratford next year
Julia was a delightful guest in my home for 1 week. We got on very well, very easy going, helpful and tidy. Enjoyed helping her enjoy and discover Melbourne, we had a lovely time together. She is very welcome anytime.
The cottage was a pleasure to stay in and has a wonderful view of Confederation Bridge and the Northumberland Strait. We especially enjoyed walking on the beach during low tide and having a glass of windy wine on the patio.
It's an easy drive to Charlottetown, Summerside and Cavendish, as well as the Dunes Studio and Gardens, which is my favourite place on the island.
This comfortable, well-appointed cottage located on Missisquoi Bay is in a beautiful wooded area close the Vermont border and Phillipsburg. We especially enjoyed the sunsets over the lake while having a glass of wine.
Also, enjoyed day trips to Venice-en-Que's beaches, the Eastern Townships' wine route and walking trails, as well as shopping in Burlington, Vermont.
It was a pleasure organizing a simultaneous exchange with Judith. She's an excellent communicator and I appreciated the good care given to my condo in Stratford.
Tu's condo is in a Cobe Architects designed building and is part of the revitalization of Regent Park, where I worked over 35 years ago. The building is sparkling new and even has a pet cleaning room. I especially liked that the condo is close to the wonderful Pam McConnell Pool, where I went for an aquafit class. Tu has an underground parking spot so you can safely leave your car and use TTC, which is a block away.
Lauren has a lovely home and even more lovely cats -Bear, Lion & Tiger. They were easy and a pleasure to look after.
I enjoyed my time in Henderson and went to the Red Rock Canyon, Lake Mead National Park, Sunshine Park, swimming at the local pool, etc. All within, driving distance. The desert against the mountains is magical and well worth a visit.
Jenni has a lovely home backing onto a golf course. It's 15 minutes walk to the train station and 20 minutes to Perth CBD.
A kangaroo and her joey hopped by while I was having morning coffee in the backyard. So relaxing.
I was travelling solo and very much enjoyed Jenni's company when she wasn't working. She showed me around Perth/botanical gardens and we went to an ABBA concert. We also travelled to Busselton and the famous pier.
Jenni was a wonderful hostess and I'm looking forward to showing her Stratford, Niagara, eyc.
I had a excellent exchange/host experience staying at Carol's home. She was a wonderful hostess. She had supper waiting for me when I arrived after a 13 hrs flight. She showed me around Sandringham, Harrow, Healsville zoo, etc. We had a lot of fun.
Her place is lovely and is walking distance to trails, beautiful beaches and a direct train into Melbourne CBD.
Thank you Julia, it was a pleasure to have you stay with me in my home. I loved showing you around you were a great tourist and perfect guest.
