Josh and Sitara's home is in a very convenient location; very close to a tube station and bus routes and it is actually closer to the city centre than we'd figured out beforehand. It is also quiet, considering the density of population in London! no traffic noise. It is handy for the Stansted Express to the airport. The flat is very clean and tidy, and comfortable for a couple. Sitara is a really excellent communicator; her responsiveness and her very careful and helpful guide made everything easy

We are a family of three and had a fab time at Sitara and Josh's place. Its the first time we stayed in that part of London and enjoyed it so much. Within a 10 minute walk we had the Children's V & A which was a big hit We also visited the markets in Hackney and a day out to Victoria Park ( which is huge) , all on foot which was a great way to get about London Great hosts who helped us feel at home Thank you xx

I took two of my kids to London, and we had a great opportunity to stay at Sitara and Josh’s place, as they were travelling at the same time. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed for a long weekend. It was close to the subway and shops. They even welcomed us with treats, which was a very nice surprise! Communication was great, and whenever we had any questions, Sitara was on top of them right away. Accessing the apartment and checking out were easy and convenient, and we had all the instructions we needed for our stay. Thank you for a lovely London experience, and see you soon in Estonia.

London is such a diverse city, and so much more than the traditional tourist areas, and Sitara and Josh’s apartment provided a good base for exploring parts of East London we had not previously visited, even when we lived in London, including Hackney, Shoreditch, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and Stratford. We enjoyed walks to Broadway Market (unexpected and a new favourite), easy access to Columbia Road Flower Market (an old favourite) and Brick Lane (we didn’t have a bagel this time, but definitely recommend the hot chocolate from Dark Sugar), and a walk along the Regent’s Canal to see the area’s ongoing development and regeneration. A visit to the brand new V&A Storehouse at the Olympic Park was also a highlight. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed, and was cozy during an exceptionally cold week in London. Public transport was very convenient, with the Central Line just a couple of minutes away, providing quick access into the City, central London, and Stratford, including the huge Westfield. Communication with Sitara and Josh was great, even though they were overseas themselves.

Lovely host and lovely flat In East London. I wish I had more time to try all the restaurants and coffee shops in the area! The shopping is also amazing with different clothing stores and supermarkets to choose from . Everything is true and valid in their listing and guest comments as well. My first time doing a home exchange and they set the bar very high with excellent communication throughout the entire process.. The flat is clean and well equipped! Great location in East London and ideally situated with public transportation as well. I highly recommend to stay at there and I will definitely come back next time In London.

We had the most fabulous few nights in Sitara and Josh’s flat. It is perfectly located, between large green spaces, a tube station and the children’s V&A museum. The flat was exactly as described and pictured. Bed was very comfortable, and we had everything we need to cook for our stay. Parking was right outside the flat - Sitara kindly sorted our permit.

Sitara and Josh have a wonderful place that's perfectly cosy and located right next to several useful lines into Central London. Sitara is a quick communicator and a friendly host, and so generous with a welcome snack and drink for our stay!!! She also gave some excellent food recommendations that showcase the best of their neighbourhood. The flat itself is a wonderful council flat, clean kitchen and a couple of work spots in the living room, nice warm shower with good pressure and a big comfy bed. We cooked there a couple of times and found everything easy to use and straightforward. We also hosted two friends for a board game evening and found the living room perfect for that! On a side note - we even found transport very easy during the tube strike thanks to its location near an Elizabeth Line stop, so everything was very convenient! Thank you for a perfect stay and we'd be more than happy to exchange with you again in the future.

Sitara and Josh's home a warm and cozy. We wanted to soak up the sights and sounds of London for the weekend and their place is the perfect spot to do this. Its easy to get to any of the areas of London with a tube stop just a short walk away. Their home has everything you'll need whether you want to cook at home or eat out nearby. Sitara and Josh's apartment is in Bethnal Green, an area we hadn't visited before. It is a culturaly diverse and vibrant community, providing an enormous variety of restaurants and shops closeby. Transportation links are great, different Tube lines take you to central London within 15 minutes. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay and Sitara and Josh made us feel very welcome by leaving us some gifts and lots of information about their area, where to have the best breakfast, coffee etc. We had daily Whatsapp contact during our stay , sharing suggestions and tips. Their attentiveness greatly contributed to the wonderful time we had in London.

Sitara and Josh’s flat is the perfect base to visit London. It’s right in the center of Bethnal Green, a stone throw from the canals, parks, the City of London and with loads of transport options to reach any part of town quickly. The house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay, furthermore it is tastefully decorated. Sitara and Josh are kind and nice, extremely welcoming and helped with useful information to make my stay memorable. I am totally satisfied with the home exchange experience and I look forward to having them in my home soon.
