Neighbourhood
Portobello is Edinburgh's seaside - long safe sandy beach, lovely bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, independent book shop, coastal walks, parks, v safe for children. Large shopping centre with multiplex cinema, High St stores and food outlets is 10 min drive. Small public sports centre with swimming pool is 3 min walk.
Getting to my home
Easily accessbile from Edinburgh Airport by tram and/or bus or taxi. Also 25 mins by bus (15 by taxi) from Waverley (rail) Station. Edinburgh has one of the best and cheapest public transport systems in the UK, able to travel anywhere in the city.
Nearest airport
Edinburgh International Airport 19 miles
Getting around
Shops are literally across the road and buses stop outside the door. Edinburgh has one of the best and cheapest public transport networks - I never use the car for going into city centre, there is no need and parking is expensive. For late night people, there is a superb all-night bus service.

Looking for anywhere in Italy April-Sept 2025, prefer minimum of 1 week but might do long weekends, open to much longer stays.
"Looking for 2025 dates, preferably simultaneous but open to suggestions. Remote worker so flexible."
