Neighbourhood
Our house named "Summerhi" meaning “summer getaway” is located in a typical Danish holiday house area, mostly used in summer and most of the houses are privately owned and not rented out. It is in a cul de sac.
You have 25 minutes walking tour to the beach (Hoeve Strand) or can go up hill to a hiking trail with beautiful views across water and the glacier shaped landscape (ridgeback hiking trail)
The area is known for many artists and artisans with small studios and its great produce and food (2 Michelin star restaurant Dragsholm Slot and MOTA within 20 minutes drive). We love to go to the summer flea market every Saturday in a close town called Vig. Shopping is possible by car (Asnæs shopping center with pharmacy and all you might need) or bike (Dagli’ Brugsen Vig Lyng). Streetfood market Strandlyst Streetfood and Glamping Campground Lillero with pop-up gourmet restaurant 30 minutes by foot or 5 by car.
We love to go to one of the best beaches in Gudmindrup Strand, if you have kids, check out cosy Sommerland Sjælland amusement park, visit the Land of Legends or Roskilde (45 minutes drive) with the Viking ship museum and other sights.

Getting Around
When you are here we will either be in our primary home in Copenhagen or on vacation in your house? We are open to car exchange (you could take our car from Copenhagen, we live 15 minutes by public transport from the airport)
