Neighbourhood

Quiet neighborhood on the canals. Mix of vacation homes, vacation rentals and year round residents. Friendly.

Nearest airport

Brownsville: 20 minutes; Harlingen: 40 minutes.

Getting around

Beaches of South Padre Island are minutes away, shopping, sight seeing and some of the best Mexican food you'll ever have are all 3-4 minutes away. If you fly into Dallas or Houston I would suggest not driving but taking another flight to Brownsville or Harlingen TX then taking an Uber or Lyft from there ($21 from Brownsville), or rent your car there. Excellent free shuttles in town and will also take you to the island beaches and restaurants. If you don't mind walking, you really would not need a car.
