General overview
Modern Charm awaits you at the front porch of this incredibly renovated Charlottesville, Virginia home. The deeply cushioned porch swing is perfect for morning coffee under a cozy blanket. Nestled in the most desirable and walkable neighborhoods, you will be just steps from downtown Belmont and the Downtown Mall.
10-feet-ceilings and white oak floors are the first thing you will be met with as you open the front doors and walk into the foyer. Make your way into the living room, and you will be further charmed by the gas fireplace, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, and cozy couches and seating. The television is 65" and allows for perfect nights with Netflix, Apple TV, and Disney+.
The dining table is large, custom-built, and fits 14 easily. The triple glass doors in the dining room overlook the incredible backyard, where you'll see an expansive bluestone patio, outdoor dining table and chairs, and toys for children, including a rope swing and sandbox.
Back inside, the spectacular kitchen awaits. Every detail is pristine and chef-grade with a walnut island, marble countertops, Wolf range, and farmhouse sink.
Back towards the front of the home, you will find the office with soft library lights, custom bookshelves, and a cozy reading chair. Across the way is the first guest bedroom with a queen mattress and attached full bathroom. A great mudroom/laundry room is conveniently located on the first floor with a new LG washer and gas dryer.
Upstairs, you will find four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, while the bathroom is light-filled and has a sublime cast iron soaking tub and walk-in shower. The first bedroom is used as a nursery with a crib but has plenty of room for an air mattress. Another bedroom offers three twin beds while the fourth bedroom has a double bed. All bedrooms provide blackout curtains to guarantee you a great night's sleep.
The house's third floor consists of a large finished attic being doubled as a children's play space. The way into this incredible extra living is through the master bedroom closet. It also has a large memory foam mattress and can fit additional air mattresses for plenty of extra guests.
Located just 10 minutes from the University of Virginia, 25 minutes from the airport, and within 15-45 minutes of the most beautiful vineyards, breweries, Skyline Drive, and Shenandoah National Park...this home is going to dazzle you in every way!
